First off, Timeless Pints Brewing Company is a hidden gem, and it's setting adds to this Brewery's understated but excellent line up of Beers. I tried several of their offerings, but am only reviewing my personal favorite- Flight Path Black IPA- at over 100 IBUs this Ale should satisfy any HopHead. Thankfully however, the roasted finish nicely balances the bitterness, keeping it from overwhelming your tongue. With few Black IPAs in the accessible Brew repertoire, Flight Path will not be a one and done experience!

On tap at Timeless Pints Brewing Company in Lakewood, CA.
Pours an opaque black with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa, coffee, and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roasty and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a nice balance between the roasty and hop aspects.
