Bottle and tap, multiple times. Served in a wine stem each time.
Pour: Body is a nice, hazy pale orange with two fingers of white frothy head. Some lacing, and the head recedes to a nice film.
Smell: Forward white wine and buttery oak, with some funk, eathy yeast, lemon rind, and light citrus.
Taste: Tart lemons and citrus upfront, that quickly evolves into a vinous white wine. Toasted, buttery oak throughout. A nice dose of funk through the back half gives way to an abrupt dry, vinous finish.
Mouthfeel: Nicely carbonated. Medium tartness, and juicy through the middle. Finish is bone dry.
Overall: A delight to drink, and one of the best wine barrel saisons I’ve had the please to have. Intensely flavorful, but a joy to drink.

A- Pours a pale orange that is slightly hazy and opaque. A good sized white head of small bubbles that leaves tons of lacing. Very pretty!
S- Super funky, almost cheese-like, dank, and almost gueuze-like. Moss, wet horse blanket, a bit of sour cherry. Overripe fruit, perhaps orange? This is super complex, and I am honestly struggling to pick out some specific aromas. Some oaky tannins and some berries.
T- Holy hell this is delicious! it is super juicy, bright and citrusy, but not in the IPA sense. It is sour and funky, again in a gueuze kind of way, more smooth and velvety, and as mentioned, juicy! There is a ton of oak, and some big white wine influence. Mandarin orange and wet grass as well. It's tart, it's funky, it's juicy, it's citrusy, and there's tons of barrel character. Just incredible!
M- The mouth feel is smooth, velvety, with lots of tiny bubbly effervescence. Fantastic!
O- Overall this is probably the best barrel aged saison I've ever had! The gueuze characteristics really make this different and awesome!
