On-tap at BJ's Restaurant & "Brewery" in Woodland Hills.
Appearance: The pour is a fiery bright orange with no head.
Smell: The nose really surprised me. I forgot how fruity these can be and this is an especially fruity one to boot. The fruity aroma isn't specific, but it's not generic red fruit punch. Toasty malts keep the beer in the style.
Taste: The fruity component hits you first, followed closely by the rich toasted malt, which dominate the flavor profile through a clean finish that's accented by a dash of crisp hops. As the beer warms the fruit starts to mellow, which is a shame, but not enough to effect the score.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with soft carbonation.
Drinkability: The amount of fruit makes this one of the more quaffable O-fests I've tasted. It's a very nice effort.
