This is a place to go when the usual suspects have run out of the latest fad beer or latest popular release. The import selection is not very creative but they do have an acceptable selection of craft beer.

At the recommendation of a friend (thanks, Garrett!), we stopped by to pick up some fruit flavored lambic for a bread recipe. As it turned out, the import selection was no better than so-so, but the craft selection was quite good I thought. The store is located in a sizeable, no frills room, one that is dominated by wine and liquor. Still, there is a pretty decent beer selection set out on shelves and columns to the right as you walk in, and then there's a very large selection in the back to the left in a very large cold box area. They have a considerable selection of local and regional offerings, and they had a very solid selection of stuff from Surly (natch), Founders and Bell's. I guess this isn't the best place to find a whole lot rare or limited release stuff, but I was more than satisfied with what I found here, and was delighted to see an ample selection of fresh abrasive. Service here is old time liquor store service. No one comes around to see if you need any assistance or help, but if you go up to the cash register, they'll try to help you. Prices were more than decent I thought. The 750 ml bottle of kreik Lindemans we got was $7.99, which was $3 less than the store we went to previously over by the Roseville mall. The 4 pack of abrasive I picked up was $15.99.

This is a very solid store, one I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

This is a great everyday store for any beer drinker. Their craft selection is broad and deep, and there is no place with better prices in the Twin Cities. Imports are heavily tilted toward German beers. It's worth visiting often, as they have a tendency to clear out their stock of late-season selections to make room for incoming stuff, and sometimes end up selling still-fresh goodies for discounts approaching 50%.

as you walk thru the doors you will see a wall of bombers and 750.s directly to your right both domestic and imported also seasonal and one offs both domestic and imported are here usually a strip of a dozen brews that are on sale are here also, with a really nice selection IMO. The store is big and bright and if it is distro in MN its here they also have a huge long wall of chilled craft brews along the back wall, service is good and helpful but not all that knowledgeable on releases or brews but they are there overall this is a very good store that really has all the brews that you may be looking for with decent prices
