Comes out of the tap an opaque coffee brown with a thin light tan head, but the thin head must be from how it was poured. Rich aroma fills the nose with caramel, molasses, even a whiff for horehound. Flavor echoes all the delights of the aroma and adds a hint of peppermint and a touch of licorice. Mouthfeel is thick and firm, almost syrupy, and quite fizzy. Fairly sweet, but not cloying, with a malty hint. Merry whatever you celebrate this time of year!

750mL bottle from Green's (Atlanta, GA). 10.99. No bottling date but released 11/14. Served in a Three Floyds teku.

Pours an opaque chestnut brown with two fingers ecrue head. Maintains a thin layer of haze throughout but leaves only a few small spots of lace.

The spices come through loud and clear in the aroma. Allspice, cardamon, clove, plums, raisins, bread and sugar.

Taste follows the nose in that those spices rule the roost. Allspice, clove, cardamon, sugar dusted prunes, bannana nut bread, vague sherry notes, burnt caramel, cocoa and a mild dose of alcohol. Spicy, bready and sweet.

Creamy, full feel with rather mild carbonation. Allspice, sugar, sweet bread and dark fruit in the finish.

Feest Noel is another enjoyable brew from Three Taverns. Perhaps not what I'd reach for when I'm craving a quad but the spices make for a nice holiday twist that I will certainly enjoy at least a couple more times this winter.

Poured from a growler. Pours a nice dark brown with a small head. Smells exactly as advertised. The spices come out in the taste as well. Good amount of carbonation to give it some balance. Not very boozy for 9%. Great holiday beer. Worth a try.
