Shared with JLindros. Once again, MASSIVE thanks to Ben, head brewer, for hooking me up with this growler.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown almost black hue with a big two finger mocha head that fades to leave a thin wispy blanket.
S - Aromas of chocolate, coconut, fluffy nougat. Nice light sweetness. Really does smell like a German chocolate cake. Impressive.
T - Taste is....Yah, does laugher count? Phenomenal chocolate cake batter, just excellent rich chocolaty malts and beans with an amazing coconut finish. The coconut just lingers well after the sip. Incredibly rich and thick, for having only 6.5% that's even more impressive.
M - Mouthfeel is super thick and fudgy, creamy, just really impressive for the ABV.
O - Overall this beer was really delicious, this beer completely encompasses a German chocolate cupcake. Funky Buddha watch out, this is coming for you. Wow.

Had poured from pint can, bottom stamped “CANNED ON 03/01/19 FRICK YOU,” gift from friend, into nonic pint.
This is one of the darkest beers I have ever seen, but have you ever tried to look through a cake? Aroma of chocolate cake, and beer delivers dark chocolate, grainy cake texture, and nuts—German chocolate cake.

poured into a taster glass via draft at Other Half's Pastry Town (3/16/2019)
color is motor oil black with tan foam
smell is baker's chocolate and caramel
taste is chocolate mixed in with subtle metallic..uggh
low carbonation
mouthfeel is full and sticky
not sure if this was a bad batch or what..but the metallic taste overpowered everything and left a bad taste in my mouth (obviously)..I 'd hope to try this again soon

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small oily head, and not much lacing.
This smells like some actually approachable diabeetus on the nose, with coconut infused cake frosting, high quality melted chocolate, caramel, maple, and coffee creamer.
This is definitely very sweet, but it doesn't ever get too cloying. The coconut is done quite well, it's sweet, and authentic - and doesn't ever get to be artificial. There's lots of chocolate too, and some caramelized sugar, along with some vanilla/coffee cream type character.
This is creamy and rich, and very thick for the ABV. It's surprisingly drinkable.
This is really quite good. It's not as tooth-meltingly sweet as a lot of Angry Chair's beers.
