Similar to a British Extra Special Bitter, this beer features the perfect balance between caramel malt and American hop character. This is a flavorful, yet refreshing session beer.

Sampled at the brewery as part of a flight of beers.
Served cold in a tumbler. The beer is a cloudy brown hue with minimal beige head, that fades to an edge layer rapidly after beer arrives at table.
Aroma is slightly grainy with a bit of earthy hops and is mild overall.
First sip reveals an average body with gentle rolling carbonation. The flavor is very mild with some grainy malt and a bit of dry chalky flavor. I get just a little earthy hop hit on the finish.
The beer is easy to drink and refreshing, but isnt overly memorable on the palate. Sessionable in alcohol and hops, but maybe not interesting enough for multiple pints or a growler. Some of the other house beers are better.
Good to see a new place opening up, and the beer isnt flawed anywhere, it just didnt move me.
