Appearance: Hazed, light copper body with a wispy, whitish head. Moderate lacing.

Smell: Lightly bready, lightly grainy pale malts underneath the citrus-scented hop element. Also, a teensy bit of butter diacetyl present in this batch.

Taste: Pale malts with a minor grainy tone to them and a low overall sweetness. Citrus, florals, then, some late-breaking sweetness, then, back to the hops with light resins and grapefruit. Drying, citrusy, faintly buttery finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A sufficient, tidy IPA.

Picked up a growler of this from the growler shop in Tucker. Given its name, I was expecting a big SoCal style in-your-face stile IPA, with lots of sticky hops. Not so much. Quite grassy and grainy, fairly lightly hopped, and a bit of grainy sweetness. Tastes more like an all grain homebrew that was inefficiently sparged and where the hops were spared. Not my cup of tea.
