There are very, very few options in Madison County for craft beer lovers to go grab a pint or two on draft, so Pendleton's Wine Stable and Brew Co. is like a godsend for people in that category.

It's easily accessible in downtown Pendleton, not far from all surrounding towns in the county, so their $3 pint nights on both Tuesday and Thursday have me coming in basically every single week.

The atmosphere is very clean and polished, the wood bar is always inviting. The only real knock I can put on the place is its truly awful satellite radio station that's always blaring loudly. I'm not sure how many people still like to listen to Creed, but apparently the owners of this place do.

The quality of the beers is always good, with the selection consistently rotating between regional breweries and others from around the country. If you come in at the right time you can sometimes find higher ABV gems like Great Divide's Hercules DIPA on tap, and for just $3 on two days out of the week. This place is very reasonably priced when it comes to their beer.

The bottle selection could be widened a bit, but there are still quite a few options out of the cooler.

The food is very good, especially the flatbread pizzas. I recommend the Margherita. I can't rate the food too high, though, because it is slightly overpriced for the amount they serve. The pizza is more like an appetizer so it should be priced that way, yet they have it at $10 and it's only about 8 inches.

Overall, I really enjoy this place and am grateful that it was placed inside a county that was in dire need of a craft beer hangout.

For being around the Madison County area this small pub/restaurant is hard to beat! Great beer selection and good food. It's a small foot print which can limit capacity at times but other then that it's a fun time. They also manage to have live music on various days which adds to the entertainment value of this establishment. I visit on a regular basis on Thursdays when they run great beer/food specials. I recommend everyone visit The Stables and taste some of their rotating taps.
