Appearance: Pours an opaque black with rings of lacing hanging after each drink, at least at first. Lacing and head dissipates as you drink down the glass.
Smell: Smell is not very developed at first. Some slight coffee notes, caramel, roasted malt, and chocolate are represented on this porter.
Taste: Coffee notes, chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, and mild hops in the taste. No real alcohol present.
Mouthfeel: Smooth over the palate with no real carbonation. Maybe a little watery.
Overall: This beer is a good representation of the style. Served a little to cold, so let this beer warm to truly develop all of its characteristics.
