Very pale gold in color with a fluffy 2 finger head. Nose is grassy and sweet with some bready overtones. First sip is lightly sweet and grainy, immediately cut by crisp bitterness and a soft fruity finish. Mouthfeel is medium thin, makes it feel lighter than it really is. Great warm weather beer, extremly sessionable and easy to quaff.

Highly carbonated. Lots of pressure when I popped the bottle cap.
Clear golden color with a lot of white head.
Clean taste, with a nice toasted malt flavor.

This is the first beer I've tried from Coachella Valley Brewing Co. and I was really impressed. Most of the Blondes I've been tasting lately are too tart, but this Kolsch did not have that problem.

Poured from the 22 oz. bottle into a short strange like glass.

Fleeting one finger head settling to a thin simple white Puck. Body color comes to a darker yellow almost orange actually. Lots of very fine carbonation throughout.

Aroma. Closed. Virtually next to nothing going on. Barely a slight possible of hint of light grains.

Not too many surprises. Light malt depth and a slight sharp grain. Slightly watery, bit of a sharp finish which is surprising. Not much fruit ester or malt flavor but a decent quality and put together beer.

Not a bad brew but lacks a lot of classic Koslch character.

I'm a hops drinker.. This is got to be the worst drink I ever had. I bought this in El Centro by accident but I didn't pour it down the drain by accident. No head what's so ever, smelled horrible, and as expected tasted horrible. I rather have a bud light instead of this.

A solid, competent, and otherwise well-made but unexciting Kölsch: it smells really nice, and is a bit of exciting turbidity out of the initial pour, but doesn't really excel in other other areas. It's light in taste, body, and color; it's very drinkable; and, if you are a fan of the Kölsch style, you'll be pleased but not elated with this beer. But if you're expecting to be surprised, or overwhelmed, or challenged—or even if you'd like to drink a really-damn-good Kölsch—then this will miss the mark.

Slight haze on the yellow brew, with a nice white foam in the Brugs chalice. Suitably spritzy on the tongue. Pleasant bubbly mouthfeel.

Slight malty taste followed by a hint of bitterness and a touch of resiny hops. Just a hint of fruit with some aromatics of wheat, straw and yeast.

This is quite quaffable, but I would say it lacks the perfumey intrigue of the better examples of the Kölsch style. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Best Damn Beer Shop in San Diego.

Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and grass aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, grass, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
