A: Deep reddish brown with two fingers of frothy off-white head that fades to a nice splotchy lace.
S: Citrus, fresh-cut grass, pine, and some oak. Grapefruit, lemon and orange all at play, not mind-blowing though. Definitely some west coast hops in there.
T: A bit malty at first with some caramel and bread but the hops come through with nice pine, citrus fruit, and even a touch of oak. Nice bitterness at play.
M: Medium bodied with moderate bitterness balanced with some sweetness. Pretty easy drinking for it's size and alcohol is masked well.
O: A tasty amber - or "imperial" amber here and can't complain about the tallboy can format. I've enjoyed everything from this brewery thus far.

Had this on draft at Buffalo Wings in Laurel MS. They have a pretty vast selection of both drafts and bottled. I asked if they had something in Brown Ale, They gave me two choices, and the Fire Ant was one. Liked it the best.
Lighting in the restuarant kept from telling if this was a red or a brown. Didnt' matter it was good.
Had a good balance of some toasty malts as well as some mild spicey hops.
Serving type: on-tap
