Not really sure why this place is listed...I'm a St. John's University graduate and have had a drink in this place numerous times. The food and service are very good but again, that has little to do with craft beer, and whether this place should be listed. Beer selection is usually Bass, Smithwicks, Pilsner Urquell, Coors Light, Sam Adams, and stuff like that. So while yes it may have a slightly different selection then a normal beer bar it is hardly a place worth listing on Beerfly, no craft brews that I have ever seen. It's a fine bar, one I would recommend to anyone normally but not to a craft brew drinker.

A better restaurant than bar. Right on Union Turnpike and well patrolled by NYPD, so it could get a bit dicey leaving the place after you have had a few.
The bar looks out onto the road and is bright and airy. A couple of craft brews on tap, but mostly imports and macros. It mostly caters to cocktail and wine drinkers, as well as bottled beer drinkers. Not really a good beer bar.
The atmosphere is okay. A good place to go before and after a St. John's basketball game, since it is right across the street from the university. Gets a student crowd on occassion.
As there aren't many places to drink in the immediate vicinity, if you find yourself in Jamaica and need a drink, you might as well visit this place. Plus, the food is pretty good.
