12 fl oz. can, with no apparent canned on date present. My third beer from O'Fallon Brewery, acquired as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's. It's been a long time since I've had a beer from these guys, so I'm not quite sure what to expect. The premise sounds nice, though.

Poured into a clear balloon snifter.

A - Pours a light bright golden yellow-orange colored body with lots of bubbles rushing topside and some fine sediment in the glass. Just over a finger of sudsy white head than thins to a ring. Looks very nice.

S - The peaches come through nicely on the aroma. Fruity dried peaches / apricot, creaminess, white grapes, and grassy / herbal wheat presence. Lightly fumey at times, but it's a nice aroma.

T - Taste follows the nose - fruity peach / apricot, and dry grainy malted wheat presence. A simple, yet tasty beverage. Reminds me a lot of how Magic Hat #9 tastes.

M - Feel is crisp, smooth, and creamy. Light-bodied, easy drinking, and with good carbonation.

Overall, a very nicely done peach wheat beer. Perfectly balanced, and super sessionable for a hot summer day. I will definitely be looking forward to more of these.

O'Fallon Brewery Wheach ---4/5.

Pouring from 12oz. bottle into sensory glass. A light, golden yellow in appearance with a quickly disappearing head,

Heavy notes of ripe peaches on the nose, some lemon and wheat being picked up as well.

Tastes as it smells, very smooth on the tongue, alcohol hidden well within. While the peach flavor is very much pronounced, it is not artificial or too overpowering to make you forget this is a beer.

A nice example of a fruit beer, an excellent choice for warm weather.

Appearance (3.50) : Medium carbonation, very flat golden brown body with a very healthy head. A little lackluster, still very decent though.

Smell (3.75) : A very light yeast flavor, very malty with a hint of peaches - nice.

Taste (4.25) : The peach mixed with undertones of wheat really tasted quite good. Not an overly complex flavor, but that's not a bad thing in this instance. Very smooth and not overly sweet.

Mouthfeel (3.00) : Very low carbonation shines through, After taste is extremely wheaty and not as peachy. Seemed a little flat, however, not awful.

Overall (3.75) : Very nice, not too heavy. A very drinkable summer beer.

Sampled last night on 5/20/14 but had this once before about 2 years ago. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a pilsner flute glass.

Pours a hazy golden amber in color with a thin white head. Some spotty lacing was seen. Lots of streaming bubbles is seen rising from the bottom of the glass, perfect carbonation actually. The aroma is very pleasant and the peaches comes through very nicely but isn't overdone along with the wheat. The taste is the same and is a perfect mix of flavors and once again, is isn't overdone. Crisp and smooth and so easy to drink. A great brew for the warmer months or actually anytime.
