A: Pours a dark copper-like color with a good-sized off-white head. Some lace on the glass, but it's not too sticky or pervasive. A nice layer of froth remains atop throughout.
S: Fairly potent citrus aroma, some hints of pine, and a healthy dose of cracker-like malt. Not especially overpowering, and definitely a unique aroma.
T&M: Sweet and tangy with a nice dose of pine and grapefruit peel. Malt comes through, as well, with a sweet and bready presence midway through. Finish is rather short for an IPA, with a reprise of bitterness. Not a tongue lasher, but not devoid of all flavor, either. A balanced, less hoppy IPA. Body is medium, almost light for an IPA, with an average carbonation level. Feel isn't sticky or oily, very average.
D: One that can be enjoyed quite readily, for sure. Lighter body and flavor help things along in this regard. A good IPA for a session.
