This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Legs of lacing glazed the sides of the glass decently. The smell started off with the spicy hemp running into subtle sweet to bitter tones of citrus. Earthy to rustic aromas amplify the balance nicely. The taste was the hemp spice up front and then the rustic/earthy portion coming in for some danky onion to settle it all out. Light spicy to semi-danky aftertaste running into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable feel. Spicy hemp does show the feel on the tongue. Overall, as a saison, it kinda works, but I think they could probably scale back on the hemp a bit.

On tap at Stone Corral. Light haze. Pale orange. Smells of standard saison yeast and herbal hemp. Kinda nice, surprisingly. Tastes of citrus, herbs, phenols, and some pale malt. Hemp really elevates it beyond the yeast strain, which is otherwise dull. Dries out quickly leaving only hemp on the back end. Light body. Very nice.

This should be a regularly available beer in cans. It's unique and really delicious, with the hemp adding a smoky earthy depth of flavor. I really miss this beer.

Limited edition farmhouse ale brewed with hemp.
Pours a light/dark blonde hue with a decent head into my glass.
Crisp and spicy. Floral. Likely due to the use of hemp.
Fluffy bread, spice and floral flavors come through on the tongue.
Slick, clean finish.
I'd like to see more beers brewed with a variation of hemp. Excellent.
