Served on-tap at Elwood's Pub

A - Slightly hazy orange gold with two fingers of foamy white head, nice thick lacing.
S - Grassy pine dank floral tones, great spring kinda beer.
T - Very grassy, floral, a little earthy hop tone too, nice pine and some grapefruit juice, light pale malt.
M - Light feel to this beer, crisp and very refreshing, well carbonated.
O - Super solid IPA, very grassy and fresh, kinda reminds me of a homebrew.

Pours a golden orange color with white head, good retention and plenty of lace. Aroma of citrus rind , herb and pine. More pith in the taste along with pine, herb and a bit of grain. Solid bitterness but finishes even. Medium bodied and crisp with a hop bite. Overall, a nice ipa. Very drinkable and hits all the right notes.

Pours a clear gold with a white lacing for a head.

Smells of overwhelmingly fresh floral hops with pine, honey, and maple elements.

Honey over biscuit malt flavor with a potent fruity and piney hop finish.

Medium body with a tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

This is a very good IPA with truly exceptional hop aroma and flavor. The hops were amazingly fresh and vibrant when I tried this. This one is something special.

Appearance: A frothy head caps the clear amber liquid and leaves a webby pattern of lace

Smell: The bitterness wafts brining just a trace of pine

Taste: The malt bill serves as a platform for the beer to launch a blast of bitterness, with just a hint of an earthy/piney character; the bitterness lingers well after the swallow

Mouthfeel: Medium body and moderate carbonation

Overall: I like the way the malt bill doesn't intrude and the beer is dominated by the hops, though I found the bitterness of the hops lacked interesting subtleties and, in the end, brought nothing much more than bitterness; still, a decent beer

This is what I consider a very east coast ipa. Much more darker character to it as opposed to any light and citric thing going on. Pine, resin, and an overall organic and earthy tone are what you get here. Definitely on the far end of the spectrum of IPAs; way opposite of any San Diego style interpretation.

Sweet, subtle malt character (honey-like). Full of hop flavor (piney, citrusy) that balances, rather than overpowers, the moderate malt intensity. Delicious.

Fantastic IPA. I'll be sure to grab this whenever near the brewery or when they start bottling. Can't wait.
