Modern and sleek yet inviting taproom, well lit, friendly staff and wicked fast service. Music level was fine and a number of games on some wide screen TVs over the bar was uncommon touch. Tons of styles on tap, old dependables and trendy new styles (newer stuff was pretty good). Extremely clean glasses and lines, of course. Neat to see all the High West barrels mellowing some tasty brews out.

New (to Colorado) kid on the block does it right! Great selection of beer to choose from

A beautiful, sleek, very modern interior, very well-lit. There was a sizable crowd, though everyone had a seat, when we got there about 45 minutes before closing on a Wednesday night, so that was a good sign.
Tons of options to select from, they had what looked like a forty-foot wall (probably a lot less, this wasn't my first stop of the night) of taps. They also had a lot of different options for sampling exactly what you wanted to try, so that was much appreciated. Near the entrance is a huge cooler with a lot of take-home options, which I grabbed a couple from.
Beers were kind of hit or miss, but when they hit, they were excellent. Staff was very helpful, knew their product well.

A bit overcrowded and understaffed. The beer selection was solid though, with some rarities that I hadn't tired already through their wide distribution.

After visiting Epic's brother brewery in Salt Lake, I had no idea what I was in for so I expected a similar atmosphere. The two places couldn't be more different, with the Denver location being a large place, with a larger menu, and a wider selection. Felt much more upscale than the cozy Salt Lake one. When I was there, there was a food truck out front with some of the best chicken tenders I'd ever had. Busy place, fun atmosphere, good beer.

I was hoping to be more impressed. I felt like i had tried most everything in the tasting room already. Probably would have been more WOW'd if we hadn't gone to Crooked Stave first

A: Lively, large space was quite full on Saturday afternoon
Q: I was there to sample, so I took on all 25. Certainly impressive to have 25 samplers lined up in front of you. A few were misses for me, a couple stood out but most were in the middle meaning they didn't stand out. Only finished a handful of them which was my overall measure of quality.
S: Good but nothing stood out. Sat at the bar, ordered, they lined up the beers, provided water and wafers, paid the $40 or so for the sampler. I will say I appreciated being able to place one order as opposed to others that want to pass them out at 4 or 5 at a time.
Sel: 25 on tap and all available for the sampler or otherwise. Not sure you can ask for more than that.
V: Price for the sample was comparable to most places.
O: Good overall, would have rated higher if some of the beers had really separated themselves from the others.

Atmosphere - spacious, plenty of seating at the tables and at the bar. No patio and the place was really warm inside (to be fair, it was about 97degrees that day).
Quality - tried 4 different beers (the Hop Head flight; Escape, Hopulent and Imperial, and purchased a bomber of the Belgian IPA to take home); good to outstanding, and I didn't even try the BBB, which I will no doubt try next time!
Service - this particular bar keep was very friendly and helpful; refilled water in a timely manner and offered palate cleansing wafers with my flight.
Selection - 25 taps of their own beer; I had 4 and I left wanting to try at least 4-5 more; so I'd give that a fat thumbs up!
Food - didn't try, but they have rotating food trucks.
Value - wish their growler fills were a touch cheaper, but the bomber and 6 pack cooler make up for that! I was told this place was excellent, and I wasn't disappointed!

A-Epic is located in the gentrifying area north of downtown known as RiNo. The tasting space is pretty good-sized and step above most breweries from an architectural perspective. There is a fire place and two couches to lounge on, a few community tables, a lengthy bar, and a smallish patio. The crowd and vibe are hip, but not quite hipster...perhaps because Epic's beers are not rare enough for the true hipsters.

Q-All of the beers on tap are Epic offerings, which is OK by me, since I think Epic does some pretty good work (see Elder Brett, for example). There is nothing mind-blowing, but even if you aren't into Big Bad Baptist, Epic has a solid line-up.

Ser-The servers were friendly, prompt, and could describe the beers they were slinging. We had multiple taster pours, which were on the small side. One pet-peeve was the taster glasses, which were shaped a bit like mini-shaker pint glasses. If you're pouring Belgian-style beers, imperial stouts and the like, couldn't you spring for some mini-tulips or something a bit nicer?

Sel-The selection is decent-sized, like 20 beers, but if you were looking for guest beers, you're out of luck. Fortunately, Epic offers a wide line-up that has something for every palate from light saisons to the aforementioned Baptist stout.

V-The tasters were two bucks, which is well within reason for RiNo/downtown neighborhood. The full-sized beers varied in price, but again, all were reasonable.

O-Epic is worth a stop if you're looking for a nice place to drink beer. There is nothing mind-blowing here, but the place is comfortable, the beers are interesting, and the service is pretty good.

Not quite the news guys on the block, as newer guys keep appearing.
This is a large space, although the front room would suggest otherwise. As you walk in there are several table to greet you with the bar on the far side. Behind that are the taps...about 30 of them. All Epic beers. Impressive to say the least. The far wall isn't a wall, but a railing that does not hide the fermentors
Overall, it's quite cozy given the scale of their operations.

Beer ranges from above average to quite good. Their options are plenty and you won't find yourself wanting of diversity. Service is good, prices are better.
Certainly a place to be reckoned with in the RiNo district.

Located in the ever brew-centric River North part of Denver, just East of Coors Field. Another excellent, refurbished warehouse-style place. Big windows give it a bright natural light to the relatively big tasting room.

A ton of beers on tap with 2$ tasters for most beers and some grouped tasters where 4 beers were 7 bucks. A solid variety off well tasting offerings. Particularly enjoyed the Kriek/Big Bad Baptist blend collaboration with Strange Brewing.

Some crackers and water served with your beers. Don't think they serve food, didn't really look into.

Big long bar with ample seating behind it. The place was 3/4 packed at 1:30 on a Friday so I assume it gets pretty busy later in the day.

Another cool thing was that they tapped their mild on nitro that day and had servers walking around offering free samples. Just a nice little touch that made the experience all the more better.

Nice, new, clean and well designed tasting room. They had most of their beers in bottles for sale to go.

It looks like they put in some good money into the place and it shows. One of the better tasting rooms in Denver. Good job Epic!

Cool set up, converted warehouse that has been modernized. Good sized place, offers a few TV's behind the bar, and a good amount of seating (both at bar and tables). Place got kinda crowded on a Saturday night but never felt overly loud or crazy, which was much appreciated. Definitely felt like a place to drink some beers and hang out, not get drunk and crazy. They offered a huge variety of beers, it was awesome. There was pretty much something for every taste, though none of their saison(s) were available. Quality was overall really good, but there were a couple duds. Service was awesome and made this as positive an experience as it was. Didn't try the food but they do have a food truck hanging out in the front each night. Value was good for their 10 oz pours and 16 oz pours. Their $2 sampler pours was outrageously priced though, as you only get 2 ounces. Overall, thought this was a great spot and definitely made me a fan of these guys...beyond my love that previously was isolated just for Big Bad Baptist.

a bustling metropolitan new location for this awesome brewery from salt lake. its in the thick of it downtown, packed always from what I gather. a full 25 beers on tap is just incredible. big beautiful facility, looks like room to grow too. too busy for great service, but it wasn't bad, generous sampling is appreciated. epic makes some incredible beer no doubt, but I also had my first couple of beers from them that I didn't love so much here, a few more generic offerings weaken the total score of the beer overall, but 25 including the fermentation without representation, several of the brainless series, a barleywine, and the imperial stout, who can complain? a tad pricey at 8 bucks a snifter of the good stuff, but a must to check out if you like epic beers. outstanding overall.
