Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.

An opaque an interesting real nice peach colored orange and yellow. Looks like a big peach and apricot fruit bowl, but a little murky with barely any carbonation, but kind of looks like graperfruit juice. Pours very lifeless, virtually no head formation except towards the end where a pencil thin puck manages to reside. Collar still remains to get populated but fairly thin. A mix of bad and good qualities appearance wise.

Real nice fruit tones on this, does hint at some peach and a little bit of citrus zest. Slightly peppery a bit too, almost some saison like character hiding around. Not much malt or sweetness or hints of Belgian like tripel quality, but smells like a thick saison to some degree. Interesting, not sure where this is going.

Very odd animal. Palate comes off a little thick, sludgy, but really flat. Big fruit tones and flavors in the middle but with a thick syrup like quality. Peach and apricot finish and more of that almost peppery saison quality that comes out larger than on the nose, but also with large amounts of hop unexpected fruity bitterness. Juiced hop body, which comes off kind of weird for a Belgian, and hinting towards some non traditional fruit flavors, but with some mixed sugars to complete.

It's an interesting take but it's really odd to style. Not really what I look for in this style, but drinkable and things could be far worse. Some better body to this would really improve things overall.
