I feel it's under carbonated which affected taste and mouth feel.

I thought this was a pretty good beer. No date on the can, but it tastes really fresh. Pours a nice, clear amber color with a 2 inch fluffy, sticky head. Nice hoppiness (82 IBU's) balanced by a perfect malt backbone that's not overly sweet. I have no complaints with this beer, enjoyable and easy to drink. I think it deserves a higher rating on BA, I'd buy it again.

Was this stale? It was just...meh. Bitter, malt, not much hop flavor or aroma. Like a mediocre homebrew. I also bought the Promiscuous unflitered IPA which was so much better! I say skip it.

Was excited to try a more traditional west coast style IPA brewed in ct... But this was a huge disappointment. No head. Flavor was just sweet alcohol. Flat. Sweet. Dull. Terrible. I hope my cans were just not fresh... But I won't buy this again.

3/5/18...hazy rusty copper with foamy lid of white foam. Prickly pine based nose. Resins. Bright juicy bubblegum open. Latent caramel, smooth and quick taster.

To be honest, nothing special. Whenever in a new city, I look for craft. The hotel had this as their "IPA". I got in fairly late and was only staying one night, so bought 2 and brought them to the room. There are so many great crafts to be found in CT, but in my opinion, this was not one of them. This is a west coast style IPA, which I like, not a juicy NEIPA. I grew up not far from the area where this is brewed, so was excited to try it. Good IPAs are all about 'fresh'. I have no idea how old this was, which might have been a factor.

Solid IPA. Nothing crazy but nothing terrible, good choice if you are looking to change it up.

A: hazy; burnt orange in color; 1 finger off white head that receded slowly to a thin cap; sheets of lacing;
S: at first whiff, it's all tropical fruit; over a few minutes, that fades and it's much more earthy;
T: earthy hops for a moment, then citrus; moderate grapefruit rind bitterness kicks in at the middle; finish is short;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: not great, but nothing to complain about;
