This beer is a sour peach farmhouse ale fermented with lactobacillus and yeast that is conditioned on American white oak. If that’s not enough fun, this beer is also dry-hopped with Azacca and Jaryllo hops.

Thanks to eyebereej for sending this one! Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into an El Catador Barrel-Aged glass.

A: Hazy and very light gold, with low visible carbonation after the initial blush fades. Forms a half-finger of dense white foamy head that lasts for quite awhile.

S: Mildly funky, oaken dry, and cracker malts. Earthy and stone fruit and grassy, with a mild graininess to the malts. A decent aroma, though not terribly exciting.

T: This is extremely dry. Dry lactic tartness, dry woodiness, and some farmhouse yeast with mild funk. I guess there’s some stone fruits in there, but it’s low. Cracker malts with mild pilsner character. It finishes with more dryness and light citric tartness.

M: Light-bodied, low alcohol presence. Well-carbonated with very fine bubbles.

O: Just not my favorite beer. The "barrel and peaches" promised didn't end up pulling through very well. This could have been better executed for sure.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a lightly hazy gold with a fat three finger head that fades to leave a rich blanket.

S - Aromas of a fair amount of funk, over attenuated, the stone fruit is a bit subdued.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, lots of funk. There is nice stone fruit notes though, good light juicy flesh and skin. Quite nice.

M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, distractingly so.

O - Overall this beer was rather underwhelming, considering the brewery. Oh well.

Shared with rudzud, May 2015 so fairly old, if it's bad I'll get it again fresh.

Pours a huge fluffy head that keeps rising, fluffy pillowy, fizzy lacing, murky pale straw color.

Nose big funk, farmhouse funk with juicy peach and little apricot like stone fruit, def over attenuated as it continued to ferment in the bottle, farmhouse saison like funk and spices.

Taste brings nice funk again, big farmhouse funk, saison and little Brett perhaps, saison spices, grassy hay and funk, little straw, little citrus lemony almost but then peachy and apricot stone fruit, very dry and gritty, over attenuated. Finish dry, little bitter, little peach, mostly saison and funk.

Mouth is med bod, tons of effervescent carb, gritty dry feel.

Overall disappointed, it could be the age or the batch but it was probably under attenuated when it was bottled and continued to ferment and that kinda ruined the beer. I'll def try again fresh and redo this

Hazy, cloudy golden color. Not much in the way of head at all. Not much in the way of aroma. A little bit of barnyard, a hint of papery oxidized smell. Taste shows a little bit of tartness and some of that barnyard from the aroma, but the lack of carbonation kind of deadens this beer. Overall, not very good.

Hazy straw colored liquid is in my glass. There's a quarter inch of frothy eggshell white head. Lactic acid with a suggestion of peaches in the nose. The taste is initially very tart due to the lactic acid, but the faint peach flavor adds a delicate sweetness that balances things out. The carbonation is fairly high and the mouth is otherwise very dry.
