Hazy golden, juicy VT-style double IPA brewed with 100% New Zealand hops: Nelson Sauvin, Waimea, and Southern Cross. This beer is overflowing with luscious tropical fruit, berry, tangelo, and lemon aromatics. A creamy, lush mouthfeel softens the bitterness and highlights the fruit-forward New Zealand hops. A touch of rye in the grist enhances the overall complexity of the beer.

L - Hazy tangerine color with a smudge of froth that leaves a glaze
S - Very juicy nose with stone fruits and a kind of candy-ness
T - Berries, mango, stone fruits, pineapple etc
F - Mouthfeel is different than I've tasted before. Almost nonexistent bitterness so maybe that's the reason why but still felt kind of "open". Not sure how to explain it.

Had it on tap at Mudville9, NYC while on lunch break from jury duty.
Pours a hazy golden with an orange hue. A finger length high creamy foam head retains well. It eventually dissipates and leaves a ring film as well as sticky lacing. An alluring looking drink.
In the nose there is a tropical bouquet of mango, papaya and hints of pineapple. There is also a mix of berries and citrus fruit. Overall, the aroma is fruity with a hint of toasted bread. The aroma is pleasant yet understated in that it is not as fragrant or pungent as other IPAs.
The flavor is dominated by juicy fruitiness with a touch of malt sweetness. As with the aroma, I'm getting lots of tropical fruit, particularly, mango. This is accompanied by a moderate hops profile that emphasizes citrus. The hops presence increases gradually and gently, resulting in a grapefruit rind like finish that adds a touch of bitterness.
Perhaps the best attribute of this brew is the soft and smooth mouthfeel. It is medium bodied yet so light on its toes. The gentle carbonation further enhances this. The alcohol is undetectable, which further adds to the amazing drinkability, especially for a DIPA.
I thought this was a very good DIPA and only regret that it came in a puny 10oz serving. I would have ordered another if not for the fact that I had to go back to jury duty. Would love to try it in a can.
