So sours or wild ales are not my thing, however this beer is pretty decent. Color is cloudy yellow. Head was bright white. Nose is slightly sour citrus, like lemon or lime. Taste was also just slightly sour. Feel was again, slightly sour/bitter.

A very nice and well done dry hopped sour. Pilsner like hop characteristic jump out immediately on the sip, with the candy like sour character. It tastes pretty good as the short and simple of it, nicely tart but not so much so, lactic with the dry hopped character taking on the role of adding an aromatic component.

Also had this at Lupulo before the Wheeler Walker Jr. concert. I think it was the second to last beer before we split.

Pours golden like the big boys adjunct lagers, wasn't expecting that degree of clarity here. 1/2" white head. Interesting, I know it isn't, but there was a neomexicanus and huell melon like hop notes of lemon, lime and honeydew melon. Funny, with all the dry hopping (Mosaic, El Dorado) that it came out quite different than those hops do in say their more ubiquitous style placement, ipa.

Taste was a milder sour and tartness than your average wild ale. Not super familiar with Grimm, I think I had one of their beers at Sour Sunday before, but I think that was it until this one. It does kind of drink like a sour ipa. There are some neat oak notes that even take on a light cedar wood aspect and contribute some dryness.

Didn't seem to be much in the way of a malt body to it, but that's fine especially if they were going for wild ipa here. I enjoyed it on tap, don't know if I would splurge on a bottle.

Pours a nice hazy light golden color with a slight head and lacing
Aroma had lemon, lime, green apple, grapefruit and melon hints
The taste follows the nose with a nicely balanced lemon, lime, green apple, grapefruit and melon flavor with a slight sourness
A light bodied moderately carbonated beer
A very well balanced American Wild Ale

A 22 fl. oz. bomber, bottled in January 2018, and poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.

Appearance: A lightly hazy golden colour with a big three finger white head that had good retention and some nice lacing.

Aroma: Tart, passionfruit, guava, lemon sherbet, with hints of orange.

Taste: Lightly tart and sour, tangy, unripe mango, passionfruit, lemon, guava, orange and orange rind with a touch of sweetness throughout.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: I enjoyed the aroma, but taste while having lots of fruit, were not of my favourite combination.

L : Blonde, golden yellow.
S: Strong funky and hoppy odors that pop out from the bottle and continue until the drink.
T: Odd mix of very dry hops with sour notes.
F: Very light overall flavor unlike many other I've had. There aren't any notes but just light dry hops at the end.
O: Excellent "light" beer that fuses hops and sours together in a unique way.
