This beer has recently been released in cans. As others have stated it's a classic example of the style. Very smooth body with a full mouthfeel but crisp and clean with soft malt notes. It finishes leaving you wanting more. It's a little more than your basic cream ale in my opinion but in the end, it's still just a cream ale and if you aren't hankering for something like it of course you will be a bit disappointing. Over all a great beer, especially on a warm night.

I'd call it a classic example of the cream ale. A little corn bite with the toasty malt. A touch sweet up front with a dry finish. Overall tasty and very drinkable on a sweaty day.

I didn't like this one quite as much as I thought I would, given that it has won a bronze medal at GABF. Probably I just haven't had too many cream ales, so I don't really know what to expect. This one was very light and mellow, but I didn't get the rice flavor. For what it's worth, they say that they removed the gluten in this beer, not sure if that affected the taste at all. But this is a nice summer beer if you're into the style.

a very basic cream ale here, well i guess they all are, but this one really seems pretty bland in comparison to the better examples of the style i have had. that said, its a real light refreshing summer beer with enough flavor to hold my attention through a pint. clear golden in color, nice white head but it goes down quickly. there is a thin vein of sweetness here, but its never enough to be off putting or filling. i get some balancing hops in the finish, a little grassy and old world tasting, and the grain is really really light with a touch of honey to it. carbonation could stand a little boost, but i like the feel of the beer overall, really refreshing and clean drinking. i like a little more challenging beers in general, but i appreciate this one for what it is, i think it accomplishes its original mission.

Basic cream ale is basic. I'm sure this floats some people's boat, but this is nothing special for me. I'm not sure why Station 26 didn't can their more interesting offerings.
