I'd call it a classic example of the cream ale. A little corn bite with the toasty malt. A touch sweet up front with a dry finish. Overall tasty and very drinkable on a sweaty day. (180 characters)

a very basic cream ale here, well i guess they all are, but this one really seems pretty bland in comparison to the better examples of the style i have had. that said, its a real light refreshing summer beer with enough flavor to hold my attention through a pint. clear golden in color, nice white head but it goes down quickly. there is a thin vein of sweetness here, but its never enough to be off putting or filling. i get some balancing hops in the finish, a little grassy and old world tasting, and the grain is really really light with a touch of honey to it. carbonation could stand a little boost, but i like the feel of the beer overall, really refreshing and clean drinking. i like a little more challenging beers in general, but i appreciate this one for what it is, i think it accomplishes its original mission. (823 characters)
