Pale, golden colored body; thick, foamy, sculpted head; sticky globs of lacing along the glass. Dank, musty, pine-scented aroma. Peppery, pine-like flavor. Medium body; sticky and wet on the palate; dry finish.
Well, granted, I'm an oddball in many regards. I get more of a pine character out of this beer than anything citrus, yet for a single-hop brew, this still stands out as a quality product. It delivers an American IPA kick and presence and is very well-balanced with a respectable amount of depth and complexity throughout the taste spectrum. Good stuff...

L - Crystal clear single hop Citra -- about as transparent as IPAs come, really.
S _ more dank pine needles than "citrus" but nice aromas
T - More on the Pacific needles and less tropical than expected
F - Good carb, not overly blown out. Good balance
O - Nothing outrageous, and not better than Juicy Banger (flagship IPA) but good to see some distinctive notes from Citra in a below 7% IPA. Balanced.

Thanks to Kyle for the brew, poured into pint glass.
A: pours a crystal golden clear body, one finger frothy white foam head, light stringy lacing
S: upon the first sniff I could get citra hop aroma right away, citrus, juicy orange, tropical pineapple, light malt smell of a cracker
M: clean and slight juicy finish on the tongue
T: light citrus, orange, orange rind, hints of tropical (aka pineapple), hop bitterness works it's way forward as it warms
O: very solid brew, drinkable, I'm guessing it best fresh, will drink more if I can get it

sean, captain kazooo, coming in hot w a nice little box of some CO goodness. apparently this one is about a month and a half old so take that w a grain of salt. the new is nice, soft...and faded. no real big blast of Citra but a nice amount of malt. 6 weeks is really the edge for most hops if not beyond in my experience. sadly this one seems a bit over the hill already. not a drain pour, but nothing exciting here.

This is one of the best beers I have EVER tried, at least at this point in my life. I rate this as good as Zombie Dust. Beautiful clear with little head. I the nose hits string from the Citra hops. I want more of this......road trip!
