The very first Cellarmaker IPA! With Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, and Simcoe hops. Aromas of mango and overripe passion fruit, lychee and rambutan, pine, and a slight diesel character from the Nelson Sauvin. The flavor is a burst of fruity resinous pine which transitions to an assertive bitterness supported by the peppery, oily rye. Slang some hops in yo’ face!

I'll preface by stating that I enjoy Rye IPA's. This one isn't as spicy as Ruthless Rye or Hop Rod Rye, but the rye spice is there in perfect balance. The nose on this beer is amazing. Deep citrus, dank pine, and hearty malt. Taste follows nose. Touch of spice from rye. Citrus hop flavors round out the flavor profile. It is a very well made beer.

Crowler poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces well.
S: All the goodness of Southern Hemisphere hops, citrus, tropical fruit, white grape, light pine and grassy notes, crackery malt, and a touch of light caramel sweetness.
T: Bright citrus and tropical fruit, lemon, lime, passion fruit, white grape, apricot, peach, and mango, light grassy notes, a touch of pine, crackery biscuity malt, and light caramel sweetness.
M: A little on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Ridiculously tasty. Good thing it's only 6.5%, because it goes down easy.

Not as good as I hoped it would be. It lacked the smell and taste I look for in a IPA.
