Cellar Makers are doing big things out there in the bay. Of all the dope spots to hit in the city this was easily our favorite on our recent week stay in San Francisco. Very new Brewery doing some really funky beers. Especially thier work with hops, both thier single and the double Ipas are exceptional

A- Beer has a very deep orange and amber hue. poured from a tap at the brewery held a one finger head for a a sip or two. minimal lacing.

S- the name says it all here very deep danky hops, the premier hop in this 7 hop varietal is Nelson. the nost is absolutely fantastic. from citurs (oranges, lemon, limes ect) to a sappy pine and spices. i wanted to bottle it up and spray it on me...

T- top notch here. the hops are so resiny and the florals and citrus and complexity you would expect from a DIPA are on steroids. Every taste seem to show a new version of the last. at 8.2% ABV you wonder where they are hiding the booze. it was a task to sip and enjoy because it really was soo dang good, i kept taking nice big gulps.

O. overall this was by far my favorite beer while i was Beercationing in San Francisco. we got shut out of Pliny the Younger becasue we got stuck in traffic, but i dont even care. i came to the west coast to find great beer and we found it here at Cellar Makers. all their beer is top notch. the staff was awesome and the vibe of the place was world class. really a hot spot if your in the city.

This beer was outstanding. Fantastic smell, great danky taste. I was in San Francisco for 3 days and went there every day to drink this. Loved this beer and the tap room. Awesome service there too.

I didn't find it particularly dank, but it was delicious. Big time nelson hops on the nose. Full-on resin bitterness but well balanced with malt. Really chewy. Overall, a great, well balance DIPA. Excellent.

Had a week old growler that was shipped out to me and this was still an awesome beer. Very dank, blast of nelson hops right off the top and very bitter finish. Overall Definitely worth seeking out if you can get it fresh!

The beer is clear and golden, maybe a couple shades brighter than medium. Medium white head, leaving solid, sticky lacing. Mix of pine, citrus and tropical fruit in the aroma. Big and juicy and fairly dank. Pineapple, mango, tangerine, pine needles, orange and grapefruit peel. Mild simple malt sweetness in the background. Fairly bitter. Sweet hoppiness abounds. Lots of fruit flavor. Medium body. Nice chewy, oily hops. Solid beer.
