Jump on the bus, we’re going to Danktown! This West Coast IPA is loaded with heady terpenes that scream drippy pine sap and gushy citrus. Brewed with the lightest of pale malts and hopped with Citra, Motueka, HBC 586 and Mosaic, this beer definitely smells like Otto’s Jacket!

poured from a 16oz can into a narrow gauge willi becher pint glass. citrus, grass, honey dew and orange marmalade on the nose. taste follows but it’s a little more subdued than the nose. almost watered down a tad. and heavier on the citrus and even has some pine that i wasn’t getting on the nose. medium-full mouthfeel. this is quite good. soft and not crazy bitter for a west coast IPA but certainly more interesting than another hazy.

I like this beer. Clever label. Looks great-clear, visible constant carbonation, copper/gold. Dank, weedy, piney, slight bit of tropical fruit on the nose. Taste is dank, piney, and bitter. Just what I want from a WCIPA. Crisp, easy sipping. Lighter bodied but a subtle booze presence, mouth watering finish. I should expect this quality example of this style from one of the best West a coast breweries there is.

On tap in a pint glass
A: Crystal clear, light orange, thin head that settles quickly
S: Tons of tropical fruit (mostly mango/papaya), a bit dank/grassy/herbal, a bit of orange zest
T: Largely matches the nose though the grass is more prevalent than the fruit
M: Medium-bodied, dry and crisp
O: Matches its name! A very good west coast IPA

"Smells like Ottos Jacket"-Lisa Simpson Aromas. Danky piney resiny tropical flavors. Medium bodied. Good consitent hop tone and long danky finish.
