Pale Ale is on tap today. 5.6% ABV and 44 IBUs. Really unique dark berry and tropical flavors from the hop combo of mostly Riwaka and Mosaic with smaller amounts of Chinook, CTZ and Centennial. Notes of passionfruit, pineapple, and a really unique blackberry character.

The beer is pale, a bright yellow gold color with a fair bit of haze. The head is white and thick. Lots of lacing. Really, really nice aroma. It’s juicy and full of hop flavor. Huge tangerine sweetness. Big on pineapple with a danker piney twist. A little bit of lime peel, mild peach, blackberries, honeysuckle. It’s bright and fresh. Mild, fresh pale malt background. The taste is moderately bitter, dry and packs plenty of hoppiness. Gentle malt sweetness holding up the hops. Lots of hop fruitiness. Very easy to drink. Mouthfeel is light and smooth. Some hop oiliness. Hard to put down. This is an excellent pale ale and shows off Cellarmaker’s expertise in making light, hoppy beer.
