Hopped intensely with Citra, Motueka and Comet. Comet is an old school hop we've never used before that came highly recommended. Lots of grapefruit, floral and pine qualities. Mix it up with the tropical element of Citra and lime of Motueka and it's a party. Clean, crisp, bright and quite fruity.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this growler.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a slightly hazy golden hue with a thin white head that fades to leave this blanket.
S - Aromas of nice floral hops, lightly sweet mango, faint pineapple, nice lightly sweet malts, light citrus.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, good floral citrus, light tropical fruit, nice soft fluffy bitterness, solid.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, thinner, watery.
O - Overall this was a solid ipa offering. If the mouth was better the flavour would probably have translated better.

Growler filled 4/24
Light fizzy head fades quickly, very hazy pale golden color.
Nose loaded with tropical fruit, citrus, little dank tropical fruit, mild pineapple, tons of passion fruit, little guava, tangerine, orange pith, fresh tropical juice, little generic fruit.
Taste brings a little creamy malt, then big into hops tropical, mild citrus, tangerine and orange pith, nice generic tropical with little musty passion fruit and guava, soft Clementine and fresh mild fall tropical fruit juice. Finish dry lots of tropical fruit lingering.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, light carb.
Overall very nice, if the mouth was a bit better the beer would have been even better, otherwise quite nice.

Growler filled 04/26/16 into a tulip glass. Pours and orange copper with 1+ fingers of medium density head with decent retention and left some sporadic lacing. Nose is heavy on floral, mango and melon attributes, particularly cantaulope, with some citrus. Taste balances the citrus and melon attributes more evenly with a little sweetness and just a bit of bitterness. Mouthfeel is great, carbonation excellent, and finish that is slightly juicy with a bit of astringency. Very nice IPA from Cellarmaker!

The beer is a pale amber gold. White head. Pretty clear. The aroma is pine, citrus and a big floral note. Mild caramel malt character. Taste has moderate bitterness. A little more malt than expected. Fairly dry. Lots of hop flavor. Not quite as bright and fruity as their normal profile. More of peach, pine, grapefruit mix. Still quite good. Light-medium body. Normal carbonation. Solid beer but I’m not sure I love Comet hops as much as some varieties.
