12oz can into a tulip.

A: Pours a clear light copper with 1/2" white head that fizzles out quickly. Retention isn't bad, lacing is OK.

S: Excellent balance of juicy fruit, semi-bitter grapefruit & citrus zest notes. Plays perfectly off of an almost sweet, fresh-baked bread malt note. Very nice.

T: Just builds on the nose. Comes on with fresh grapefruit & some juicy fruit notes almost reminiscent of starburst candy (in a good way). Mid palate is pleasantly bitter & follows the initial fruit-sweet hit perfectly. More of that delightful bready malt plays in slowly toward the tart, citrus finish. Stellar.

M: Moderate carb married to a light-ish, somewhat crisp body. It's a touch syrupy right at the finish.

O: This is a fantastically enjoyable VA IPA.

Appearance: light orange to deep yellow. A finger of a white head. Strong retention and lacing. Hazy and almost opaque

Smell: slightly strong and sweet crystal malts. Some grassiness. Citrus to herbal and earthy hops.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass.
Aroma- A real lively IPA aroma of citrus and hops
Appearance- A clear light orange color with no sediment, had an average size white head.
Taste- Great flavor, hops and citrus, well balanced.
Palate- A light to moderate bodied ale with mild carbonation. it is very dry and leave a crisp taste in your mouth.
Overall- I really dig this ale, I highly recommend. it.

Mouthfeel: light drinkable. Bitter. Some lingering. Not quite as refreshing as some ipas

Overall: not as good as I have tasted it on tap a few times. If it weren't local and fresh I don't id go for it again. Just an average ipa

The nose had tangerines, floral perfume, apricots and honey. The flavor was very light and refreshing with lemon, honey, light bitterness, floral hop character and a bit of pine. Kind of a simple yet oddly diverse this is a nice refreshing beer.

A big shout out to the captain of the canship, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is strong of tropical fruits, citrus. Taste is hops, tropical fruits, medium bitterness, light citrus, tasty and refreshing. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall a fine beer worth seeking out.

A: nA lovely medium amber with a small-ish light tan head.

S: Pine and citrus peel, there is a sweetness to it that suggests tropical fruit. Lovely.

T: Hoppy, with plenty of citrus bitterness. Lots of lemon zest in this with a lingering orange and tropical fruit flavor. Decent bitterness.

M:Medium in body, with medium high carbonation.

O: Overall tasty. Citrus hops are lovely, and it is crisp and refreshing. A lovely IPA for the summer starting.
