Heard about this new bottle shop down the street from Toronado so I decided to stop in and check it out before heading up to Toronado. Atmosphere was typical bottle shop, people checking out bottles in the isles and a few others talking to the guy behind the counter. Service was decent. He asked if I needed help but I didn’t so he went back to helping others. Quality seemed pretty good, nothing out of date I saw and the shop was well maintained. Selection was pretty good but nothing overly amazing like some of the other shops I had visited in the last few days. Prices were a bit up and down, some bottles lower than the average while others were higher. Overall a quality shop for the area, I would return in the future.

I was visiting from out of state and found the service and selection to be fantastic. The size and layout of the store was a little different then what I am use to (in a good way) Te staff was very helpful and friendly, I would make a point to go back to this store next time I am in San Diego

This has become my go-to, walk down the street to pick up a few beers, bottleshop.

It's still in it's infancy, and they're obviously going to expand as the business picks up. They've got a section with coolers where the beers are seperated by style (Belgian, Sour, Hoppy, Really Hoppy, etc). They've got quite a good selection in the coolers, but if you don't see something you're looking for you can turn directly behind you to an island of more craft beers. The majority of what they have on this island is not in fridge.

They've got a good selection of beers, but they tend to have more out-of-towners than locals. If you're looking for something specific you might want to call beforehand, because their selection isn't extremely expansive, but if you're just aimlessly looking to get something this shop is a very good place to go.

I like this better than the store in Little Italy. This place has a wall of coolers with the beers actually in a logical order by style, and the larger amount of shelves seems to be mostly extra bottles or stuff nobody is willing to pay 20 or 30 bucks for. Of course you can't taste anything at this location, but why bother with five excellent beer places within three blocks.

The selection is about as good as it gets in San Diego. The emphasis, though, is on beers from everywhere else. The cashier tends to the internet and in several trips I have never heard a comment or offer of assistance. But you can see what they have, buy what you want, and go home and enjoy.

Lots of singles of various beers at somewhat elevated prices, but you get to sample a lot of different things, not just the bombers-only beers. This is not a place to look for a big variety of six packs.
