Into a regular pilsener and previously had in a flared pilsener the day before, no noticeable change.
A: dark brown color yet still has a decent transparency to it, two finger white to almost off white foamy and bubbly looking head that once it dies, there is some light somewhat spider webbed lacing
S: slightly roasty with some malts and coffee
T: roasty and sweet through the coffee and malts; light coffee/chocolate aftertaste; dry watery finish
M: sits fairly light on the palate, has a smooth carbonation to it like a good Schwarzbier should and has a decent sessionability aspect to it
O: seems like the style was hit square on, but its a Schwarzbier and often super hard to make extremely desirable, I'll be able to finish off the 6 pack, but stand on the fence if I would buy it again

Poured out of a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A – Dark root beer brown with a nice finger of off white head that settles quickly and disappears.
S – Very light florals with some roasted malts as well.
T – Roast comes through more in the taste then in the nose. Very light coffee flavor in the mix but not one that would put off coffee haters at all. Light cocoa and chocolate flavors as well. Light sums up the taste palate here completely.
M – Medium bodied with ample carbonation.
O – I am an unabashed Chiver but did not expect much here. I was pleasantly surprised but that does not mean the craft world will love this one. This is a very easy drinker and a good brew to enjoy on a picnic or a hot day. I dug it and the wife loved it and well that helps me out. Worth a try.
