On tap at the Cask Republic, New Haven, CT:
The beer appeared a slightly hazy straw yellow color with a foamy white head with some retention. The aroma was a pleasant sweet malty smell. The taste had a definite German tilt to it, as expected, but wheat and banana...reminded me more of a Kristalweizen than a Kolsch. The beer had a light feel to it, but it was smooth and easy to drink. Overall, a decent beer and one that I would get again, but may not be my first choice.

Golden pour with a moderate head.
Very mild aroma of sweetness.
It's a light flavor with high carbonation.
This is a lighter style of ale, but I find it very similar to a lot of pilsners. Recommendable as a summer seasonal for hot weather, but if you like big dark beers, you'll find it unremarkable.

Appearance: Slightly hazed pale straw. Bright-white and fluffy head. Drops to a small cap and collar. Moderate carbonation.
Smell: Slightly sweet light malt base. Crackers with some floral backing. Light yeast adds a crisp earthy character to the back everything. Light and sweet. Some biscuit dough. Some slight corn and grassy notes. Lightly hopped. Clean, but ultimately a bit sweet and lacking depth.
Taste: More of the same. A bit of baked cracker sweetness. Some light earthy undertones. A bit more floral than the style would usually indicate. A bit grassy. Clean and easy going. Sweet light malts take a bit more as the beer warms. Some corn and light husk.
Mouthfeel: Clean and light with a moderate carbonation. Lacks a bit of crispness on the finish.
Overall: More like a stone spike.
Easy drinking and light, but missing some depth and crispness. Nice sweetness. Average.
