Pours a foggy caramel color with a head that recedes quickly. Leaves nice lacing as it goes. On the nose, you can detect honey, biscuit, clove, hay. On my first sip, im hit with honey, toffee, caramel, straw, some banana, clove, raisins. The willamette hops provide a long, earthy hop finish. The mouthfeel is light, with moderate/low carbonation. This is very drinkable with some great notes perfect for a chilly fall day.

Gifted 3/4 of a fourpack by a daughter who didn't like it.

Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Phillips pilsner pint.

a : Clear copper with an inch thick white head which receded to a thin ring of surface foam and spotty lacing.

s: Very mild caramel malt and slight floral notes.

t: Follows the nose, slightly sweet finish.

m: Medium, good body and light carbonation tingle.

o: A pleasant English-style ale, perhaps a bit misleading to call it a wheat ale because that ingredient is less evident probably due to apparent English malt overwhelming any subtle wheat biscuit notes. However the wheat may mute the malt leaving overall a pleasantly mild effect, especially considering the higher-than-sessionable ABV. Nicely drinkable.

A strong pour was needed for a finger sized light beige short lived frothy head with no lacing.
Translucent copper-brown, tan-copper in front of light.
Smells of toasted Wheat Thins and sweet malt.
Effervescent carbonation gives the start of the taste a cider like fizz, semi-sweet and lightly bitter.
The neutral middle has increased bitterness, caramel malt and peach with toasted wheat.
The quick smooth finish dries a little and leads to a bitter tea taste plus a cloying sweetness in the aftertaste.
Light bodied, above average carbonation. Sort of smooth, a little rough at the finish.
A solid example of an uncommon style. Worth a look and a tick.

A: crystal clear; deep amber in color; 1 finger moussy off white head that receded to a splotchy cap very nice lacing;

S: all malt - caramel, fresh wort, a little smoke, a little nutty;

T: all malt to the middle - caramel, nutty, a little dark fruit; mild bitterness with a sense of raw spice on the finish;

M: medium bodied; moderate creamy carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: I don't like the raw spice note that I got at the finish;

Poured from the 22oz bottle into a snifter glass, comes out brown with some ruby highlights, nice head leaves some lacing. Sweeter aroma, malts take front and center, some fruit here. Taste starts bready, bit of wheat tang, middle is sweet with some stone fruit. Finishes dry, slightly bitter, clean. Medium body, easy to drink the whole bottle but overall not what I was expecting. Was looking for those willamette hops but found none.
