A special thanks to my apartment-mate Bertrand Morin for bringing this to us in a growler straight from the brewery!!!

A - Cloudy, unfiltered dark amber color (almost like thick honey or agave nectar) with a small one-finger white head that reduces to a nice residual layer. Carbonation bubbles are continually moving through the cloudiness. 'Tis a gorgeous beer! 4.5

S - Floral, hoppy smell. I couldn't tell you exactly what this smells like...but what I can tell you is that it smells good. Really good. Like hop-angels singing in your nostrils. (ok that sounded weird) 4.5

T - Slightly sweet citrusy lemon flavor at the beginning, immediately counterbalanced by bitter hopnotes at the back of the tongue. Nice crisp finish with a hint of apple, bergamot and more citrus. 4.0

M - Smooth and carbonated just slightly. I think this would have more carbonation and a better body if we had had it in Massachusetts and it didn't have to travel back down here to Richmond, VA. 3.5

O - I think this is a fantastic beer. It's been in the growler, transported by car, all the way down from Massachusetts to Richmond, VA and I think that has definitely had an impact on the quality. That being said, I think this beer is great even despite these detractions. If you can get your mitts on this beer, do it!!! 4.5

a. Pours a cloudy golden orange, which settles into a clear golden color. One finger head which thins to a floating layer covering a good portion of the top of the beer.

s. Honey, wheat - not hoppy

t. Honey present int he front, and a grassy finish (like mower clippings).

m. Easy drinking beer. Mild carbonation.

o. Not sure I would revisit, maybe on a hot day with little other offerings. I have enjoyed other beers from this brewer, but this is not their best offering.

22 oz bomber from Liquors inc. poured into a standard Guinness pint glass. Best by 2/11/14

A - pours golden and clear, with a fluffy one finger head. Moves to a thin lace.

S - pine, bread. Not much else.

T - biscuity malts, very faint hop presence. Mild zest. Zest. Yep. That's the first time using that word on a beer description.

M - decent, medium heft

O - good offering, was expecting more hops, but I enjoyed it.

Bomber > Mason Pint

A - Cloudy amber 2 finger white fluffy head, medium lacing.
S - Off aroma. Burnt toffee, estery dark fruit scents, no real good hop aroma detectable.
T - Very sweet malt, some slight banana and fig, stale bread, a little spice, very soapy aftertaste.
M - Chalky and pasty kind of feel, not inviting.
O - This is just lame, idk if this is a bad batch or what, but I'm shocked at the rating it has. It taste like what I would assume would be dirty dishwater.
