Barrel-Aged Black Ale Brewed with Smoked Peppercorns & Vanilla Beans.
For many farm dogs out here, life can mean a slow stretch of days, lazing in the shade on the family porch. But that's not Jet's life. Jet was rescued by old Cecil K. Fecker after a snarling dog fight on the farm down the road. Their love for each other was sealed in dirt and blood. Ever since, he hasn't left his master's side, and is a constant sentry on the farm. Jet's quick to fight and sink his fangs into any intruder's backside. This isn't a friendship, but rather a kinship, born on the same black night, with the moon glowing like the devil's eyes.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip. Little or no head and minimal carbonation. The taste is VERY deep and rich -- chocolate and coffee with some dried stone fruit. Didn't get any pepper taste. Would save this for a special occasion.

Very nice and smooth. I may have lost some of the pepper bite from ageing but still had hints of vanilla and pepper and the barrel ageing. Still balanced well, subtle but flavors meld very nicely. I liked that the vanilla did not over power which most others with it do for me. Didn't get much smell after the first whiff, which may be from age. Old Fecker has always rewarded me with excellent brews, this one is very fine but did not excite me as much as others from them, still well done. I think I should not have aged it though>
