look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Pale orange body. Small white head. Thick collar.

Smell - Bready. Very grainy. Lightly acidic. Lemon. Kind of a wine barrel presence.

Taste - Light white wine. Very lemony. Bready and very winey. Gets a little acetic in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Well carbonated.

Overall - This isn't very complex, but it's nice. Simple and nicely sour.

Split with rudzud, duffy, and kyle. Awesome name.

Very little fizzy head, fades quickly mostly golden color.

Nose great, dank sour lacto, big sour lemony funk, floral funk, weird like apricot fruit thing, juicy tart funk and fruit, little golden sour malt, barnyard funk.

Taste starts super sour, tart fruit, site lemony, little grassy and floral, golden sour fruit, little sour apricot and lemon, some flemmy slight milky lacto, bit acidic, dank funk. Finish is long tart sour fruit lingering, mild funk, flemmy and acidic.

Mouth is a lighter to med bod, fluffy slight creamy, decent but lighter carb, flemmy acidic.

Overall pretty nice. I really enjoyed this although others didn't as much.

Reviewed from notes:
Founders growler into Founders glass.

A: Pours a clear bright golden with a very faint short lived bright white head that faded into a fuzzy collar. Wispy lacework was left down the glass.
S: Funky notes of dry oak and yeast, with notes of peaches and stone fruits, lemon, and slight green apple and golden fruits. Tart and earthy.
T: Follows the nose with oaky dry flavors of tart lemon and green apple, apricot, and earthy yeast and straw. Leafy hops and buttery oak in the finish and aftertaste alongside some woody oak tannins. Drying aftertaste and faint earthy spice. Buttery and fruity overall.
M: There a touch of grease to the mouth. Medium body, tingly carbonation, clean tartness with a kiss of vinegary acidity.
O: Smooth and dry, tart and clean. Good flavor but nothing earth shattering. Great flavors, but wish it was dryer.

Split with JLindros, Duffy, and Kyle.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a crystal clear golden hue with thin wisps that fade to leave more light wisps.

S - Aromas of funky brett, great lacto, almost fruit like apricot notes, light yeast. Very bright.

T - Taste is rather yeasty with good brett and yeast note. Good faint fruit, good faint blondes. Pleasant.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, body is nice but the lack of carbonation hurt.

O - Overall this beer was tasty, the nose was really great but the taste was just alright.
