5oz pour at the brewery. Batch 2. Served in a snifter.

A: Pours a clear, light, woody brown, like coffee with water added. Very thin light brown soft head faded to a short lived collar. Brief spotty lace was present.
S: Fresh coffee grounds dominate. Smells of whole fresh beans, slightly oily, slightly fruity. There's a faint tart twang in there as well.
T: Coffee from the nose hits first and is a smooth, lightly acidic, roast. An acidic kick hits next with a puckering tartness, mild berry tartness, and earthy oak barrel. Coffee lingers all the way through and sticks around in the finish. I get just a hint of vanilla in the finish, and caramel and lemon mixed with the coffee in the aftertaste.
M: Medium body, not super dry, a but greasy on the mouthfeel with a tart bite. Low carbonation.
O: Coffee works well with the dark sour, and everything is light enough to not be overbearing. Not a coffee bomb, and not overly tart.

Batch #3. Smell has lots and lots of coffee. Taste is also mostly just coffee, and lactic acid. Super, super dry.
