10oz pour into tulip.
A: Served a clear glowing pale golden apple juice color with a faint wisp of a collar. Spotty lace was left down the glass after each swallow.
S: Golden fruits, acid, vinegar, musty oak, apple juice, mild peach and apricot come through.
T: Oak up front with some tart peach and golden stone fruits. Hints of crisp green apple, minerally salt, and lemony and drying tart acid. Decent acidic bite in the finish with some slight peach. Quick aftertaste. Refreshing and quaffable but flavorful and smooth. Mild acetone.
M: Sparkling tight carbonation. Fuzzy drying mouth with a nice tart bite. Medium body, slight buttery greasy oak, slight acetone is rough around the edges as it warms. Fairly smooth overall though. Tannic on the throat.
O: Damn good golden sour but definitely more tart with less salt than the few gose’s I’ve had. A very enjoyable beer nonetheless.
