A-Nice looking package, label, wax, etc... Dark brown cola in color. Tan head with good lacing. Better carbonation & head retention than other BR beers.
S- baking spices, nutmeg cinnamon but no pepper heat spices on the nose. Cola scent pretty prevalent. No S'more sweetness like the non-habanero version.
T- lots of pepper heat. The hot pepper sting and flavor overshadows the other flavors of the no-hab version. No ABV heat on the palate. Light roasted malts, a little burnt sugar. As it warms, I'm tasting the same soapy-chemical flavor I get with most BR beers.
O- decent mouthfeel, smooth. Not a bad beer but I can't get past the first pour due to the heat and soapiness.

I like this! Poured with a nice thick, foamy, tan, slow to settle head, lace, and an opaque brown black color. Aroma is roast malt peppers toffee vanilla. Flavor’s like nose, with cocoa appearing, sweet carbonic tang in front, then other qualities along some bitter. No off flavors. Body is very good; the habenero only seems to give a little moderate heat, not much flavor if any. I notice no alcohol warmth though it may be masked by the habenero, even if I think I’d notice the difference. Good beer!

I was told by the brewer to drink this in large gulps so that the heat is balanced out. When consumed as directed it's a very well balanced and tasty beer. Take a sip, though, and you better hold on to your seat.
