A: Your typical big box beer and liquor store. A grocery store/retail vibe. No ma and pa service here. Pretty stale and stagnant. This BEVMO was in a very odd place and the building looks like it was once an office space.

Q: Like most of these stores, I probably would nt dare to buy lighter beers here unless you absolutely know it just hit the shelf. Big beers are safe. I have never bought anything from this particualr location but have visited enough BEVMO's in California and elsewhere to know quality of certain beers can be an issue due to the backstock and floor exposure.

S: Don't expect to have any beer geek speak. Most of the BEVMO staff have zero clue but are friendly.

S: Not as big as the Total Wine down the street but nt bad. I did manage to find some FW16 still on the shelves.

Not much to add to the prior review, as he pretty much hit the nail on the head. This is probably one of the more lackluster BevMo's I've seen, at least from a beer standpoint. It's a good place to come to fill up on mainstays from Deschutes, Pike's Place, SN and Firestone Walker (for instance), but don't expect to come across anything particularly limited and/or unusual. They had bottles of Mirror Mirror and Velvet Merkin (the latter, I assume, only because it just came out and they do have a nice selection of FW stuff), but those were the only limited release, standouts I thought.

I haven't been to the nearby Total Wine, but was told that that's where most local beer geeks go to get their supply (and so, not here). I can't say that surprised me. I just walked around a bit while the GF was over at the nearby DSW, and didn't see a thing I was even tempted to buy.
