Our take on the Trippel style originally brewed by monks in Belgium features fruity / funky notes from the traditional Belgian yeast paired with a sacrilegious American hop character.

12oz can served in a snulip. If there's a date, I don't see it. Got it from @Mr3DPHD

Pours a mostly clear brassy golden with a small-to-medium sized dense, fluffy head. Smell is wet grain, yeast, a hint of banana.

Taste is nice, not exactly conventional. Definitely has the yeast and banana I expect from a tripel, but drier than I was expecting, Earthy / grassy hops seem to be making a surprisingly strong appearance as well.

Mouthfeel is medium to thick without being heavy, sticky, or cloying. Overall, quite enjoyable, though not very conventional.

Poured into a frozen beer glass. Looks beautifully dark with a manageable head. Not foaming.

Tastes hoppy for a Trippel, just like the can says. Not overly, but definitely there. well balanced actually.

Tastes delicious with good ale flavors not tricked up for sweetness.

I drink a Trippel 3-4 times a week costing way more than this. For a beer made in Florida without a 100 + year old tradition of ale beer making, this is well worth the $2.25/can. Will definitely revisit and try some other beers from this brewery.

The color is orange and hazy with a good head that lasts. The smell is hoppy like grapefruit and alcohol and some yeast. The taste is like the nose - hoppy and grapefruit with some bitterness and alcohol taste and blends with some spice from the yeast. It does taste like a hoppy trappist. It is quite refreshing and goes down easy for a 9% beer! Would drink again

Just another IPA in disguise. Check out Panic Attack by Holy mackerel. Now there is a Florida based company who understands what a Trippel is.

This is an IPA despite what they are marketing. If you like delirium tremens, fin du monde, duvel, etc, don’t expect that head or taste. It’s extremely hoppy and fruity. Very disappointing.

The pour is orange in color. The taste is more similar to IPA than a tripel. Cheers! B-

At 9%,I hate to rate a beer this lowly.
Sorry,This isn't a good example of a traditional Trippel.I know, they say an American Trippel. But seriously, they want you to buy the Trippel.
So,looks light and golden...whatever.Smell,its that Belgian bubblegum,but very faint.Taste...I get some peppery bitterness,and that's not a Trippel.I know!!!,its an 'American' Trippel,I can read the can.But still,I expect a Trippel-taste,not this.Beer is carbonated,not really smooth.
Overall,a 9% beer that is kinda,sorta....not really a Trippel.Victory Golden Monkey is better,for America.Orval......now,that's awesome.

I'm not an IPA fan and that is what this taste like to me. I hate this and hope to never drink it again. Its the worst trippel I've had. It's a local brewery for me an forgot about this. Get their night swim instead.

Poured from 12-ounce can into a tulip glass. Clear golden amber in color, with a three-finger head of brilliant white. Good retention, with scads of pretty lacing. Aromas and flavors of caramel and light bread, with a slightly fruity, funky, and floral overtone. I returned to this after stepping away for a bit to let it warm up. The flavors and aromas had opened up some, but were still quite understated. The alcohol warmth was a bit more prominent after warming. Overall, a very good take on the Belgian tripel.

While I haven’t had a ton of experience tasting Tripel style ale, I’ve had enough very good, authentic ones. On that basis, I’d rate this a Tripel light. It doesn’t have a strong aroma, much of an attractive look or a deep, penetratingly delicious taste profile. Not spicy or fruity enough. Kind of mostly bitter. Disappointing.

12 oz can poured into a Belgian stem.
Look - goldish coppery, light haze. Brings a white head that lasts throughout the experience. Good lace.
Smell up front is classic Trippel with a fruity hop bang that almost seems out of place.
Taste - it’s straight up a highly hopped Belgian. Slightly sweet, short to-the-point finish, biscuity, faint hit of banana on the finish. A tad of bitterness.
Feel - Refrishingly fizzy and light.
Overall - At 9% ABV, this is more of an acquired desire rather than an every day sud. You’d also have to be picky about food pairing - maybe brisket or fried chicken?
It’s good Florida beer, distro round the state, and I won’t say ‘no’ if offered a cold one.,.

Look: It pours golden and clear. It has a slightly off white head with excellent head retention.

Aroma: There are strong fruity aromas with some light yeast and earthen notes. There are some bready elements in the background with spice.

Taste: It has a strong citrus flavor with spice, yeast, and earth in support. There is light bread.

Feel: It has a medium body with a spicy citrus aftertaste.

Overall, the citrus notes made this a different and enjoyable beer.

Golden appearance. Frothy white head. Yeast roll, grassy, candied sugar notes with a touch of Belgian funk. Hint of granny smith apple on the finish. A touch boozy.
