Taste is grapefruit, tangerine, and grass. Even with all the typically hoppy flavors, this one is well balanced. This is a solid APA that I will revisit. (154 characters)

I tried this new offering from a Mississippi brewer on 11/5/13. On tap served in a pint glass.
This beer was a surprisingly light straw yellow color. Not typical for a pale ale, actually looked like a blonde. It was pleasantly cloudy though with a nice head and left a little lacing. Smell was nothing spectacular, mostly mild hop aromas and a slight breadiness. The taste was a little above average. The hop presence was there without the bitterness, as expected for the style. The taste was mild and easily enjoyable. Mouthfeel was thicker than expected given the color and the low abv, and the carbonation was great with the right amount and the right feel to it. I would drink again. One should expect almost a light version of an APA, and it will not disappoint. This might be just what we need here in this climate for a thirst quenching, flavorful, and light bodied ale. Good job Yalobusha. (898 characters)

At the tasting, they called this a hybrid beer: pale ale yeast, fermented at pale ale temps, but use all pilsner malt in the grain bill...
Definitely see the aspects of both. It's got the aroma and bitterness appropriate for a pale ale but a VERY crisp/dry finish. Well done. (276 characters)

Half of a finger head
Medium body, with a low alcohol content for a pale ale
Taste is mellow, citrusy at first, and then there is a small bite from the hops
Overall good, and improving (184 characters)
