Pours a sparkly amber-golden color with a pillowy, huge white head.
Lots of fresh squeezed lime peel, grass and a refreshingly fruity note of oranges define the first impression. Prickly kiwi and water melon and white bread dough add complexity to the lemon forward nose if this.
Drinks light with a bubbly, effervescent finish, leaning against the so far hop profile in this, inviting sweeter malts to the palate.
Tastes of white bread, dough accompanied toffee, a soft aqueous component and old school bitter, lemony hops. The hops are already resinous and pleasantly bitter, once they become recognizable on the palate with a constantly evolving fruit punch. Also brings a whiff of orange to the palate with a watery note, resulting from the very bubbly carbonation, the lime dryness stays though.
Very nice, pungently bitter - well balanced by the notable but light and bready malts, packing a big lemon punch, which goes almost all the way. The finish though is a bit too dominated by the effervescence, which does not leave lots of flavors in the finish but a watery emptiness.

Follows the IPA styles from Braukunstkeller, just with the bitterness cut back.
Pours amber with a white head.
Smells of citrus, grapefruti, and orange.
Taste follows suite, with a sweet caramel undertone. No bitter bite to this one, like in there IPAs.
Fun beer, drinks well. Nothing earth breaking though.

Very well made beer by our German friends. This is getting one of the better brewers in Germany with insanely good Imperial Barrle aged stouts and IPA stuff.

Picked this up at a great beer shop in Darmstadt, Germany, Maruhn Welt der Getränke. Hazy yellow-amber pour with a one finger foamy white head with minimal retention and decent lacing. Nice resiny, citrus nose with hints of tangerine, caramel, and signature Citra hop notes. The taste follows suit with bold resin and citrus up front along with hints of sweet caramel malt, tangerine, orange zest, lemon, and big Citra hop notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly chewy, with a nice tangy bite on the finish. Overall, very well balanced and flavorful and one of the better German craft Pale Ales I've had.

330ml bottle. ½ pt glass, enjoyed @ Freiburg (Barcelona). Gold color, chill haze appearance. White foam creates a thin, close & lasting crown. Delicate citric – ripe citric & tangerine- aromas rounded by hints of vanilla beans. Sweet malty upfront followed by gentle herbal bitterness. Light to medium body. Soft carbonation. Dense texture. Citric & slight resinous bitterness on a biscuit bed linger into a sweet/bitter finish. Ripe fruit on the aftertaste. Sharp bitter sediments. Flavorful & refreshing beer!!
