The place opened during GABF week but it wasn't until a couple weeks later I went with a couple friends. The place is located bookending a self service car wash with a liquor store on the other end. They shared about a dozen parking spots. Entering the place I see a bar that faces the brew house that looks like a large home brew set up. A chalkboard tells the tap list and prices. Five house brews flowing from a set up that makes a another tap possible in the future. The room has 2 TVs playing with no sound. There is a long counter in front of the window that looks out over the parking area. Another four tables with chairs are in the taproom. A nice patio area with four more table share a sole propane heat lamp out side.
We sit at the long counter.
The menu shows the info on the five brews (High Pressure Vanilla Porter, Master Plan Amber, Hot Iron Orange Ale, London Bridge Brown Ale, and Steamboat Wheat). The other side shows food choices that are delivered from a restaurant nearby. My friends ordered flights that cost $7 for the 5 beers. I got a full pint.
The lighting is weird with 4 bare but colored bulbs shining in the taproom. A couple locals are at the bar. The place is open only 5 days a week and are a cash only but there is no ATM on site. Hope the liquor store has one or you better have it on you when you get there.

i have tried to go here several times before, and was always disappointed to find that they keep pretty limited hours. that kept my knowledge of their beer restricted to the affordable stout bottles they have around town. this place is cool though, like a little old house in the center of town with a nice patio and really confined bar space inside, amazing that they produce so many different beers in here, everything so small, quaint would be an understatement. super relaxed too, just as casual as can be, a great atmosphere on their patio. the selection was remarkable in here for how small the place is, but i didnt love any of the three beers we had. a brut ipa and an blonde stout were both pretty good, but the kentucky common had a real whack fermentation profile, and none of them really stood out as awesome, but maybe i didnt order as well as i could have. the folks working here were really friendly and chill, so that was cool, and their list seemed diverse enough that a few of them had to be standouts. as good a place as any to drink a beer in colorado, awesome vibe and a no frills sort of place overall. we had a great time here, and would recommend it for the patio alone! i hope the next time i go the beers are better though...

Among the BEST Breweries in the state! Intimate family run brewery with exceptional offerings. They have something for everyone regardless of your beer palate. If you go, you must try the Blonde Stout and Vanilla Porter, both excel at breaking dark beer myths. Good food from nearby restaurants can be quickly delivered to the brewery during business hours. They are closed on Mon-Tue.
