Visited here on 9-11-21 with Da Boss and to watch the action of Broadway and 1st Ave from the comfort of the RB patio.

Vibe was outstanding if you are an old fart like me there to people watch and not participate in the zaniness of what i see as a Las Vegas Strip/Fremont Street/Bourbon Street experience. Bar is well worn but by no stretch a dive as it maintains a decent standard of quality. Did not get up on the patio but has to be an outstanding view. Inside area had a pretty good capacity and looked fun.

Quality of the beer was pretty good as the IPA was mediocre but the oatmeal stout was good.

Service was very good as our server was very young but very personable and had a decent knowledge of the beer. She did forget about the dessert Da Boss ordered and chalked it up to a backup in the kitchen. But she kept up with the late lunch crowd.

Selection of beer was pretty average with only eight beers and a seltzer available.

Food was good as i really liked the RB Spicy Chicken sandwich. The fries were sub-par. Da Boss Brewer's Club sandwich was solid.

Overall it was fun to be at a Rock Bottom again since they started disappearing a few years ago!

My wife and I stopped into this brewpub to find a respite from the loudness and rowdy crows of lower Broadway. We sat at the bar, and shared an appetizer and a couple of pints. The atmosphere was open and clean. The beer was okay, and the food was average, but with huge portions. I really liked the brown ale on cask. Typical chain brewery, but worth a stop for a quiet and tastes pint.

Visited with a large party during vacation to Nashville.

Sat on the roofdeck on a thankfully not so steamy summer evening. Great view of river and action on Broadway.

For beers - had the special IPL which was clean and spot-on (trademark of RB beers) & a decent Porter.
Enjoyed a very tasty large Cobb Salad, all fresh ingredients.

Waiter was awesome, put up with a lot of special requests and split checks without a huff.

Definitely worth a stop if visiting the Broadway area.

Went here for a late drink and appetizers. I found it to be packed, but the service was good and the prices were CHEAP! I got a flight and it was like $6. Their beers were pretty bland and this place is a chain from the Midwest. If you are staying in the Franklin/Cool Springs area it is worth a visit.

The fifth and final brewpub I landed in during my time in Nashville was quite unexpected. We were in town for a wedding and I was invited out with the groom and some of his high school friends while my wife and the other ladies got their nails did. We ended up going to a Rock Bottom in the heart of downtown, which I wasn’t even aware existed.

Being downtown, the location is pretty swanky. Sure, it’s touristy, but if touristy means high ceilings, beautiful wood and a rooftop bar, sign me up for touristy. It’s a pretty standard large restaurant in the heart of a major downtown tourist destination, which means it’s nice.

I had already stuffed myself full of a mediocre buffalo burger at another brewpub for lunch, so I didn’t have any food here. Some of the things others ordered included shrimp and grits, ribs and a gigantic chicken nacho plate. Everything looked pretty tasty and pretty high on the chain-tourist-trap-restaurant spectrum.

I wished I hadn’t eaten at Blackstone.

The beers were pretty solid. They came with the standard color spectrum of blonde, pale, amber, hefe, IPA, stout, etc. But they also had a few seasonals that you don’t find every day, like a red rye IPA and a maibock, both of which were superior to their standard lineup.

That’s the way it goes with most Rock Bottoms and other brewpub chains I’ve found. Don’t scare away the not-yet-converted-to-craft drinkers by offering a lot of mild standard brews but offer a couple of more interesting options in the rotating draughts.

As for the service, it was a little bubbly at times and a bit much, but overall he did a great job. Large tables are never easy to accommodate.

Oh, and one of the characters on the wall representing (I guess) a label for one of their beers had the worst case of ball chin I’ve ever seen.
