The beers were pretty good although they all had a similarly hoppy taste to them. Not as large of a selection as other bars but that is to be expected for a brewery that mainly is pushing their own beers. My only complaint would be with the service, seemed to be under staffed for a Saturday night and the rush caught up with one of the bartender's attitude while the one other bartender seemed to be able to keep it together. A person in out party ended up being told to feel free to go to another bar if he dealt it was taking to long to get a beer after waiting 20 min and politely asking the bartender if he could get a drink. If you can get past the possible lack of service the beers are worth a try.

They only had four of their own on tap when I visited on 8/1/14, all were very good, especially the Belgian. They were out of two of their regulars. Mr. S. Fix, owner/brewer, was behind the bar so we were able to chat about what's coming up (IPA, Barrel aged, etc.), how the brewery got to where it is and plans for the future brewing. If there are a two or more in your party, there are games (bag toss, darts, pool, etc.) available to play, or pick someone from the bar as they all seemed very friendly. If you're in the area, detour to get here. Parking was a bit of an issue on Friday night, but I'd expect it to be better on other nights. There was no food available, so eat before or go hungry, but go.

After learning that fixture Brewing was finally able to serve their own beers, I literally couldn't wait to visit and went as soon as possible (10/29/13). After sitting at some amazing brewery taprooms in Albuquerque, I had been dreaming of having a brewery of that caliber in Waukesha.

Initial impression when walking into their space - odd layout. A long bar, some pool tables, a couple dartboard, and a few tables against one wall were all normal. In the center of the area, though, they have a rectangular area surrounded by half walls with two tables in it. Not sure exactly why they needed to take up so much of their space with that weird semi-private area, but whatever. The bar was also completely empty except for the bartender, kind of weird, but not terribly unusual for a Tuesday night at 6:00.

Normal WI tap selection, Spotted Cow, some macro's, their own brews, and one or two other crafts. Also have a small selection of craft and macro bottle/cans. They haven't finished their kitchen, so the only food available at the moment is frozen pizza.

Bartender informed us that they were out of their IPA, so the three choices we had were the 'Sha Shank Stout, Wizard Weiss, and Fox River Red. We wanted to try all three, and we did. Unfortunately, these brews were of sub-par quality. I realize that it takes a little while to get dialed in on a new system, so I'll give them some time, but there was also an odd burn-the-throat aspect to all of their beers that was quite unpleasant.

The best part of our visit was that Tuesday night is $3 tap night. Our total for three pints was $9. Second best aspect, the bartender was fairly good looking, and was quite friendly.

Overall, I want to cut them some slack for time being while they get their shit together. On the other hand, I feel like these guys should really have tried to put their best foot forward and made sure their beer was solid to begin with. I'll go back to see if things improve, if they don't, I'm going to stick with patronizing House of Guinness down the street.
