Pours a nice tan gold color with a white head on top. Can smell lots of hops along with a citrus and earthy smell. Very light taste of hops with some malts on the back end.

Recently had this Double IPA on Draft at a local Tap Room (Beer Baron - Pleasanton). Pour was in a traditional pint class.
L - The looks was a light orange ,cloudy color. A little bit lighter than a Pliny. Head was a nice cream color.
S - Nice Deep Floral Bouquet with a bitter scent on the end. I tend to gravitate toward a more floral IPA.
T - This double lets you know the hops mean business. Comes with a hint of alcohol burn, which I tend to enjoy. Not as smooth as a Pliny but definitely not over powering.
F – Slight heavy feel. Nice not to have it wafer thin and sharp like a wine or a sour.
O – Overall I am a fan of this Double IPA. Powerful enough for one to serve as a night cap or start the night off on the right foot.

L- beautiful gold-peach, super clear and crisp, great lacing, mild carbonation.
S- sweet-grassy pine, dank tropical notes, bandaid, earthy undertones.
T- lovely iipa from faction, the malt bill has a nice backbone of caramel and two row that gives the pungent hop qualities room to shine, lots of earthy spicey notes, marijuana-like, juicy, bright. Surprisingly not too much of a bite, nice and balanced. Long bitter finish.
F- crisp and sharp up front, quickly rounds out to a smooth slippery maltiness, then back to the bitter finish.
O- solid iipa, reminds me of Pliny the elder, tons of hop essence while maintaining a smooth balance, would buy again no doubt, just wish faction would release more specific information about the hops, malts, yeast, etc. of the brew.
