16 oz can from Spikes. Clear, pale golden, frothy head fades to little patches. Malty, bready aroma, straw, grass. Taste brings more of the same, with the hops making an appearance at the very last second.

Pint bottle into straight pint, fridge temp.
Spot-on pilsner color, on the dark end. Head is vigorous and lasting, with impressive lacing and cap lasting right to the last dregs of the pint.
Moderate aroma, light on the hops, surprisingly dark malt notes for a pilsner.
Mouthfeel is crisp and light, with a very slight resiny note in the finish.
Taste is a pleasant light malt and a slight citrus punch, giving way to caramel notes. Hops are sustained but muted.
Overall, very tasty spot-on pils

Poured from pint bottle in Pilsener Glass. No bottle or freshness date.
L: Clear yellow, finger and half white head with good retention.
S: Pilsener malts so biscuity and grainy aroma with herbal hop aroma from the Saaz. Faint citrus backnote from the Hallertau Saphir used.
T: Biscuity malt up front with the herbal and faint citrus in the middle ground. Grainy at the end.
F: Light, crisp and dry finish.
O: A very solid Pilsener, which is not easy to do, the addition of the Hallertau Saphir hops was a nice touch and not overdone. Unique in it's own right yet still traditional enough to please even the pickiest craft beer drinker.

Run of mil, albeit well done. Clear, crisp, clean. A perfectly decent pilsner that doesn't indulge in the excess of hops. Enjoyable on a sunny day at the brewery.
